Two Hearts Natural Horsemanship

Where Communication, Love & Obedience come together

About Me

My name is Rachael Brouelette and I am a Natural Horsemanship instructor who specializes in helping people bridge the horse/human communication gap. I have been rehabbing rescues/abused horses and using Parelli Natural Horsemanship and natural principles with horses for over 10 years. My first horse was adopted from TIER Rescue in Riverside and I was able to gain valuable knowledge by playing with many of the other rescued horses at TIER that came from all backgrounds, ex race horses, ex roping horses, starting PMU colts & fillies, etc. On the other end of the spectrum I am also the official "Wrangler" for Rebel, the Long Beach Ballet horse. He has done parades & has yearly performances of The Nutcracker where he joins the dancers on stage pulling a sleigh.

My main horsemanship focus throughout the years has been the Parelli Natural Horsemanship program and moving through their levels system. I am an official level 4 student with my partner Elessar, which is the highest level you can obtain in their home study program in On Line & Liberty skills & official level 3 student in their Freestyle riding skills. (Level 3 Certificates) I am a student of the horse and my teaching style reflects that. I bring down to Earth, positivity, humor & fun into my teaching sessions because we’re supposed to be playing with our horses. In addition to the play aspect with our horses I strive to meet every horse owner’s individual learning style, because let’s face it, we’re learning to "speak" to our horses.

Through the years of learning natural ways to communicate with horses I have dedicated a lot of time learning about proper horse nutrition, chiropractic, massage therapy, balanced shoeing or trimming, healthy teeth and many other aspects of horse ownership. I feel it’s incredibly important to look at every part of the horse while helping people learn how to train their own horse. I teach you with the tools and techniques that can be applied to your current partner AND horses of the future. You get to take that knowledge with you rather than always having to pay a trainer to do it for you.

In addition to assisting local horse owners I also actively donate time, training and funds to our resident therapeutic program http://www.rideyourhorse.com as well as TIER Rescue http://www.tierrescue.org. These very important organizations also help improve the lives of horses and humans so I am more than willing to join in on helping their organizations.

Both TIER and RYH are always in need of good volunteers and donations to keep doing what they do, please visit their websites to see how you can help.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and if you have any other questions please feel free to Contact Me.
